I have been there. 18 years ago I found myself in a heap of legal trouble that could have cost me my entire professional career, my family and my dignity, but all I knew how to do was lie and explain my way out of it. After treatment, working the steps of recovery, building new relationships and lots of therapy I got sober too.
But after my first sober bottom at 4 years of sobriety, I knew there was more work to be done. I knew I had to find true serenity and move from fear to confidence. As a licensed therapist and a sober woman I can share the ways I did that with my community of sober women like they were taught to me, with a few special twists!

DAY ONE: What is self-awareness?
Monday, October 4th at 12:00pm Eastern/9 Pacific we will kick off this mini course by truly defining self-awareness. It is important to understand the things you can change and what you can’t about yourself and others.
DAY TWO: Internal Self-Awareness: Discovering More About Yourself
Tuesday, October 5th at 12:00pm Eastern/9 Pacific. Being willing to learn more about yourself takes a lot of courage. You have to look at yourself objectively. Self awareness is what you develop when you pay attention to your expressions of thought, emotions, and behavior.
DAY THREE: External Self-Awareness: Understanding Others
Wednesday, October 6th at 12:00pm Eastern/9 Pacific. We examine external self-awareness. In other words, do others see in us the same values, passions, aspirations, and behaviors that we see in ourselves? We will explore both the "why" and "why not".
DAY FOUR: Barriers to Self-Awareness
Thursday, October 7th at 12:00pm Eastern/9 Pacific. We cannot explore self-awareness without also understanding the barriers that could be holding us back. We will really dig deep during this session.
DAY FIVE: Tools for regular self-awareness
Friday, October 8th at 12:00pm Eastern/9 Pacific. We will spend this time putting what was covered this week into real-life practice. We will explore and break down the importance of sensation, thoughts, feelings, and understanding.
